Every year, there is hype around the top prospects in baseball, and someone is always willing to take them in the middle rounds—hoping to catch the next star early on.

Last year, it was Stephen Strasburg, who is still being drafted in leagues this year despite having Tommy John Surgery in the offseason.

The flavor of 2011, however, is Bryce Harper.

Every baseball season, there are injuries around the league.  Some are so bad that a few can never rebound and make the same impact as they did before—i.e. Carlos Beltran of the New York Mets, who has now been forced to change positions due to injury.

Depending on the situation, whether it's Tommy John surgery, a shoulder operation, elbow tendinitis or a broken foot, baseball is a very tough sport to recover in.  This can be due to the fact that "Americas pastime," puts a high demand on muscles that aren't used in everyday life. 

Over the past, decade many moments have been shared by White Sox fans on the South Side.

A World Series has been won, playoffs have been made, and records have been broken.

Baseball legends have graced the turf of U.S. Cellular Field.

Defensive giants Omar Vizquel and Andruw Jones, home run sluggers Manny Ramirez and Frank Thomas, and all-time greats Jim Thome and Ken Griffey Jr. have all donned the White Sox jersey.

The question with all of this is, "What are the top ten events from U.S. Cellular Field to occur in the past decade?"

It's time we all take a breather from worrying about the sports themselves and focus on the players involved. This article is written with the intent of recognizing that there are bigger things that we should be focusing on at this time in the world rather than sports. On 3/11/2011, an unprecedented 8.9 earthquake rocked the country of Japan. It brought devastation, injuries, life loss and widespread panic, but that was only the beginning.

In a strange twist of fate in Texas Rangerville, outspoken franchise CEO Chuck Greenberg is on his way out of town, and disgruntled star Michael Young—he of the trade demands and vitriolic accusations aimed at team management—is apparently staying in Arlington.

Young, angered after the team had ousted him yet again from his position with the team, sounded off on Rangers' management, especially GM Jon Daniels, accusing Texas brass of misleading him and treating him unfairly.

Every team has someone they look at and envision lifting The Commissioner's Trophy. Stop it! There is not a single player in the minor leagues today who will "lead your team to a title" immediately.

That being said, there are some guys to be excited about. These are talented young players who, if handled correctly, could develop in to the next face of your organization.

Spring is the only time of year that anyone can be underrated. The heat has finally been taken off the hot stove. That means no more winter meetings, free agent tours, salary dumps or round-table discussions. 

No, spring is different. Spring is about sprinkler heads spraying the sod, a bucket of balls poured onto the infield, Beemers in the parking lot and the L-screen being dragged to the mound. It’s for ridiculously high jersey numbers and pitchers loping along the warning track.

Milwaukee Brewers (2010 record: 77-85)

The Milwaukee Brewers front office entered the offseason with one primary task: improve the pitching staff. The club finished last season with the third-worst ERA in the National League—the primary reason the club finished with a sub-.500 record.

The fresh cut grass, smell of garlic fries and crack of the bat.

Soon, those things will be joined by real baseball. Baseball that counts and means more than just getting pitchers work.

One of the joys of baseball, for me, are the story lines: the drama that unfolds over a season or carried over from the previous one. For various reasons, I find myself drawn to see certain players who have changed teams or find out if all the moves by another team translates into success.

So let's look at a few of those and speculate about why they'll be fun to watch.
