The 2016 baseball season is headed for its All-Star break, which means it's time for one of the great summertime traditions in the form of the Home Run Derby. 

One big part of Major League Baseball's annual All-Star festivities is the All-Star Celebrity Softball Game, featuring some of the biggest stars in pop culture and baseball legends teaming up for bragging rights. 

Derek Jeter and Hannah Davis were reportedly married during a ceremony Saturday in St. Helena, California, per People's Lindsay Kimble. 

The New York Daily News confirmed the event:

Catcher Buster Posey is the face of the San Francisco Giants. He's got a National League Rookie of the Year Award and NL MVP trophy in his case, among other accolades. He's arguably the strongest thread that runs through the team's trio of recent championships. And he's an All-Star once again, for good reason.

Changes keep coming to the 2016 All-Star Game, with Toronto Blue Jays starter Aaron Sanchez replacing injured Boston Red Sox closer Craig Kimbrel on the American League squad.  

Pittsburgh Pirates outfielder Gregory Polanco was held out of Saturday's lineup after suffering a hamstring injury during Friday night's game against the Chicago Cubs.

Pittsburgh Pirates outfielder Starling Marte, Cincinnati Reds outfielder Jay Bruce and San Diego Padres starting pitcher Drew Pomeranz were named to the National League All-Star roster as injury replacements, MLB announced Saturday.

Marte, Bruce and Pomeranz will replace the Chicago Cubs' Dexter Fowler and the New York Mets' Yoenis Cespedes and Noah Syndergaard.

Boston Red Sox closer Craig Kimbrel has been placed on the 15-day disabled list and will undergo surgery on his left knee, according to WEEI.com's Ryan Hannable.

The Chicago White Sox placed starting pitcher Carlos Rodon on the 15-day disabled list Saturday morning because of a wrist injury.  

At least this game doesn't count.

Using the MLB All-Star Legends and Celebrity Softball Game as some sort of tiebreaker wouldn't be much sillier than the All-Star Game determining home-field advantage for the World Series. Luckily this is not yet the case, so viewers can instead laugh at famous people embarrassing themselves while wondering which legends would still represent an upgrade for the Atlanta Braves.
