While hitting a home run always benefits a team, New York Yankees slugger Alex Rodriguez is probably wishing that his 3,000th hit would've stayed in the field of play—because it doesn't look like he is going to be getting the ball.

As the St. Louis Cardinals and Philadelphia Phillies attempted to play a baseball game at Citizens Bank Park on Friday night, a squirrel on the loose made it hard for some—especially the Phillies—to focus on the action on the field.

Major League Baseball has wiped out more than 60 million votes for the 2015 All-Star Game amid fears of improper voting techniques.  

Jeff Passan of Yahoo Sports reports the number of accepted votes is still greater than 300 million.
