Now that the Cam Newton hot takes from the Super Bowl are out of the way, Major League Baseball pitchers and catchers report to spring training in a week.

Yeah, the season is approaching as fast as you think.

There are some new faces in new places—including Zack Greinke in Arizona—and many teams have some intriguing questions entering spring training.

New York Yankees pitcher CC Sabathia had a tumultuous 2015, culminating with a stint in alcohol rehab starting in October, but he's in good spirits just over a week before spring training begins. 

A wild card exists in every Major League Baseball rotation. The Los Angeles Dodgers, though, have a deck of them.

Starting pitchers Scott Kazmir, Kenta Maeda and Alex Wood all enter the 2016 season with questions about how they may perform.

Darvish Outlines Throwing Schedule

Darvish told Evan Grant of the Dallas Morning News that he plans on throwing his first bullpen session in March as he recovers from Tommy John surgery.

The unofficial end of baseball's offseason is quickly approaching. Pitchers and catchers will begin reporting to camp next week, and soon, we'll have a clear picture of how every team's roster is going to look on Opening Day.

Of course, with a slew of notable free agents still available and both the inevitable injuries and surprise performances that come along with spring training, those pictures are sure to change. In fact, some teams could be ordering new photos before the exhibition games gets underway.

The Super Bowl is officially in the rearview mirror, and that means it will only be a short time before pitchers and catchers begin reporting to spring training and the 2016 MLB season is officially underway.

We're still roughly two months from Opening Day, but the time is now to start preparing for your yearly fantasy baseball drafts.
