Fantasy Baseball Preview: Which Chris Davis Is For Real?

Chris Davis is a player that everybody clamored for last year.

Why wouldn’t you? He hit .285 with 51 runs, 17 HRs, and 55 RBIs in 80 games as a rookie in 2008.

2010 MLB Predictions: Fantasy All-Sleeper Team

The users at Mock Draft Central are using that website for a variety of purposes, including trying out new draft strategies, so the results aren’t something to take to the bank.

However, the calculated Average Draft Position (“ADP”) of each player is our best method of viewing where players could be drafted in similar leagues, and essentially how to gauge whether fantasy players are bullish or bearish on a particular ball player for the 2010 season.

Your Fantasy Baseball Draft Tips and Etiquette

When most people think of fantasy sports, they think football. Sure, it’s the most popular, but it’s also probably the easiest to win and requires the least amount of attention. But by no means is that all there is.

Considering the time of year, why not give fantasy baseball a try? In fact, go one step further and join a league with an auction draft. It involves much more strategy than your standard league (with its random draft order).

Repost: Battle of The Blogs Fantasy Baseball. 10 Spots Remaining.

I've been getting ready for fantasy baseball and came up with this idea for a Battle of the Blogs league. I have set up the league on ESPN.com and would like to invite any bloggers interested in joining. This will be a great way to compete with other bloggers for bragging rights as well as promotes everyone's blog.

I am hoping to get bloggers from all over the country. Below are the details of the league.

Battle of the Blogs Fantasy Baseball League is open to anyone with a blog. Your blog name will be used as your team name.

Fantasy Baseball Impact: Free Agent Signings

This offseason saw a large number of free agents sign with new teams. Some teams were trying to fill holes while others were trying to take their team to the next level.

Whatever the reason, a lot of quality players found new homes. This is a recap of the signings with the most interesting fantasy implications.

Fantasy Baseball Profile: Is Barry Zito Back?

Barry Zito had a revival or sorts last year. After struggling with a combined 21-30 record and 4.83 ERA during his time in San Francisco, he rebounded with a 10-13 record and a 4.03 ERA.

Perhaps even more impressive were the 154 strikeouts, which were the most for Zito since 2005.

Fantasy Baseball Injury Status Update: Hitters

Following up our injured pitchers analysis , here is a recap of hitters coming off injury in 2009, and whether they are worth the risk fantasy-wise or not for the 2010 season.

We’re giving the Green Light to players not expected to be negatively impacted by their most recent injury woes. There are some big names in the High Risk, High Reward category but they have some injury risk you need to be aware of.

Texas Rangers' Julio Borbon Is a Steal in 2010

Lock this guy up. Just do it. He's on the brink of "Pierredom." Make that "Crawfordom." And you can get him cheap! Julio Borbon  is set to bat leadoff for the Texas Rangers, and he will be a big reason why the Rangers will take the AL West in 2010.

2010 Fantasy Baseball: Top 10 Outfielders

Shopping for an outfielder is sort of like shopping for a BMW. No matter what model you look at, you know it’s gonna be a pretty nice vehicle—I personally don’t own one, but you get the idea. The Outfielder position is as vast as the ocean, and luckily there really isn’t a significant drop in talent until you get to the near bottom.
