After a season in which their starting rotation led Major League Baseball with a 2.99 ERA, you'd think a starting pitcher would be the last thing the St. Louis Cardinals would need this winter.

But need one they did. And Tuesday, they found just the man for the job in Mike Leake.

The New York Mets have bolstered their outfield depth for next season, reportedly agreeing to a deal with Alejandro De Aza on a one-year deal.

While trade chatter in the Hot Stove League has begun to regurgitate many of the same names we've been talking about for much of the offseason, a list that includes Carlos Carrasco and Jose Fernandez, one new name has begun making the rounds on the rumor mill—Jake Odorizzi.

It's almost Christmas, and 2016 is right around the corner. It's hard to believe that we're just over two months away from hearing those fateful words: "pitchers and catchers."

Before we get there, though, there are still plenty of moves left to be made. Most of the heavy lifting has already been done, but several quality players with immense value remain on the market.
