With the MLB Winter Meetings coming to an end Thursday, it's time we look at those who had a good week in Nashville, Tennessee, and which teams will benefit the most this upcoming season.

We can't definitively project success over the long-term. The Zack Greinke to the Arizona Diamondbacks-type deal has proven time and time again that monster contracts for guys in their 30s don't always pan out in the end. Who knows how good the Greinke deal will be in 2021, when the 32-year-old is in the last year of his contract?

Jake McGee has been a staple at the back end of the Tampa Bay Rays' bullpen for the past several seasons, but the veteran lefty could be on the move.

Report: McGee Trade Talks Intensifying

According to Jon Morosi of Fox Sports, the McGee trade front has heated up significantly over the past one or two days.

The 2015 MLB winter meetings are officially in the books, and they will likely be remembered for a flurry of activity and nonstop rumors.

After this week's winter meetings and all that came before, there are now fewer players available on the offseason market than there was when the offseason started. Alas, it's withering away.

But it's not empty yet, folks. And we can prove it!

We're going to do that by ranking the top 25 targets that still available on the free-agent and trade markets. The former is straightforward. For the latter, be warned that we're only looking at players who have been mentioned in serious rumors recently.

FRIDAY AFTERNOON UPDATE: We told ourselves we were only going to deal with transactions during the winter meetings, which ended Thursday afternoon. But some things are too big to ignore, so with the news that free-agent outfielder Jason Heyward has chosen the Chicago Cubs (first reported by Gordon Wittenmyer of the Chicago Sun-Times), we've added an 11th transaction.

The MLB offseason didn't end with the conclusion of the winter meetings. Far, far from it. There are still a gaggle of big names unsigned, after all, and a couple of long, cold months before the first spring thaw.

That's ample time for agents and general managers to haggle, players to ponder and, at long last, all the trade and free-agent pieces to fall into place.

Close your eyes, Washington Nationals fans, and picture it: Bryce Harper and Jason Heyward, two of the game's most dynamic young players, roaming the outfield together.

It's far from a sure thing, but it's also not an impossible dream.

With the winter meetings in the rearview mirror, the Major League Baseball offseason is no longer young. And if we know anything, it's definitely that teams are now well-armed.

You know, as opposed to well-batted. Teams haven't been rushing to the bats aisle. But the arms? Shoot, man. They've been flying off the shelves faster than Sidd Finch fastballs.
