It is appropriate that the 2015 MLB winter meetings are in the Music City of Nashville, Tennessee, because the flurry of activity has been music to the ears of those looking for baseball stories during the long winter.

The winter meetings always provide a good deal of excitement around the MLB community, and this year has been no different.

While the meetings won't officially wrap up until sometime Thursday afternoon following the Rule 5 draft, there have been enough trades and free-agent signings that it's worth taking an updated look at where things stand around the league.

Third baseman Adrian Beltre has been with the Texas Rangers since they signed him before the 2011 season. If the franchise has its way, he will stay with them until he retires.
