So, what would you do if you were baseball commissioner for a year? Well, I sure know. Actually, there are three major things that as the commissioner I would attempt to do. Actually, these would happen, I would make sure of it.

Sorry to say it, Bud, but you're fired!

On each of these slides is one thing that I will do.

So, without further ado, I present Shanan H.'s tenure as baseball's brans, spankin new commissioner!

Ranger fans like no other fans know what roller coaster type seasons are like, the Texas Rangers have been having that share over the past ten seasons.

Last year the entire season almost went by before the Rangers swept a series and were swept in a series, it took the first week of the season to accomplish both this year.

The Rangers opened the season at home with a three game series against the Cleveland Indians. The Rangers went on to sweep the Tribe 9-1, 8-5, 12-8 and comply 29 runs, 37 hits, and 18 extra-base hits to start the season.

Orlando Hudson of the Los Angeles Dodgers hit for the cycle on home opener at Dodger Stadium. The finishing touch of the cycle came in the sixth inning with a triple against long-time division rivals the San Francisco Giants. 

The “O dog” singled in the first, followed by a home-run in the third and a double in the fourth. This was all against the future Hall of Fame pitcher Randy Johnson.

As some of you may already know, the Bleacher Report fantasy baseball gurus Scott Fender and Collin Hager of the Elmhurst Pub Roundtable put together a Bleacher Report fantasy baseball league.  I'm one of the lucky participants—please allow myself to introduce...myself: I'm Brian Wey, manager of the team "End of the Dugout."

My favorite sport is Baseball. So my favorite movie would be..a Baseball movie.

From the true stories like 61* and The Rookie to the funny and exciting movies like Benchwarmers and Major League. Here is a list of MY top 10 favorite Baseball movies.

I still haven't seen Chasing October and i think there is a new CUbs movie coming out that ought to be good.

I work as a produce manager at a grocery store. Today was a beautiful Monday in Santa  Rosa. The day after Easter and just days before I go on a nice vacation, I was building a display of navel oranges at work when a regular customer named "Bill" came in.

Bill is a Giants Fan and like myself, has a general hatred for the Los Angeles Dodgers. I didn't get to watch the game because I was at work, so I asked him how the game was going and if the Giants were winning.

There are many images that come to mind when I think of Jose Canseco: Bash Brother on the Oakland A's in the late '80s, outfielder who assisted a home run with his head, and clown prince of the Steroid Era.

Yes, he took PEDs. So did many other players during the second half of his 17-year major league career. Hold that thought for a minute.

Yankees starter Chien-Ming Wang was chased from the mound in the second inning of the American League Champion Tampa Bay Rays home opener, after the Rays offensive juggernaut became too much for the 29-year-old Taiwanese pitcher.

Center fielder B.J. Upton made his triumphant return to the Tampa Bay lineup with a walk in his first plate appearance and a bunt single in his first registered at-bat of the season. The Rays had been platooning players through the outfield waiting for his return to the team from the disabled list.

As cities get bigger and as the fan base grows, baseball will need to expand.  But where?

To answer that question, I made a "playoff" in between cities that could get a new team.  The bracket will go from 14 teams, to seven, to three, to the most likely to get a new team.  Here's the list:

It is a sad day, not only for all Phillies fans, but for all the sports world.  Harry Kalas, 73, passed away today. 

Kalas was the broadcast voice of the Philadelphia Phillies since 1971.  His distinct voice was recognizable by any sports fan throughout the country.  Besides announcing Phillies games, he has also worked as the voice of NFL Films and numerous commercials, including most recently the Chunky Soup commercials.
