Joe Blanton's Trade Market: Who Wants the Philadelphia Phillies Righty?

The weather here in the northeast is unbelievable. I hope everyone is staying safe and not trying to travel in this snowstorm and the aftermath of it.

Fantasy Baseball: First Round Pick Analysis-Josh Hamilton

Josh Hamilton had a monster 2010 campaign.

No one can take that away from him, but should fantasy owners base an early round selection on that success? Many people actually believe that he is good enough to select in the first round of 2011 drafts.

Is it justified? Let’s take a look:

2011 MLB Preview: A Position By Position Look at the Best in the AL Central

As the 2010 season approached, it was expected that the American League Central division race would come down to the final games. The division had been decided by a tie breaking 163rd game in 2008 and 2009, so there was no reason to believe that 2010 would be any different.

MLB Trade Rumors: 10 Prince Fielder Deals That Could Change Milwaukee’s Mind

Okay, before anyone totally freaks out, this is not a "Brewers are looking to trade Prince Fielder" story. This is strictly a what-if scenario, plain and simple.

As we know, there are some teams out there that have had a disappointing offseason thus far. Their fans are clamoring for their team to do something. As a result, a team might be looking to make a splash the size of Prince Fielder doing a cannonball into the proverbial MLB pool.

Watch Out for Zack Greinke and the Milwaukee Brewers in 2011

With the acquisition of Zack Greinke, the Milwaukee Brewers are telling the rest of the National League they are a team to be reckoned with in 2011.

With Prince Fielder being a free agent after the 2011 season, the team could look a lot different in 2012. So why not go for it?

San Diego Padres Sign Brad Hawpe

Don’t fret about the loss of Adrian Gonzalez, San Diego Padres fans, you now have Brad Hawpe to replace him and play first base.

That was my poor attempt at humor and an unfair shot at Padre fans, but they really do have Hawpe to replace Gonzalez at first in 2011.

Fantasy Baseball Top 15 Closers for 2011

Some people prefer to wait until late in their draft to acquire their fantasy closers, figuring that you can take some risks while also finding saves on the waiver wire throughout the season.

Others like to use early- to mid-round picks in order to get an elite closer or two, hopefully stabilizing their standing in saves.  Which strategy is right is a debate for another day, but let’s look at how I currently rank the Top 15 closers heading into 2011:
