First off let me give kudos to Philadelphia Phillies pitcher Cliff Lee—who pitched an eight-inning shutout in an 11-0 whitewash of the Los Angeles Dodgers on Sunday during Game 3 of the National League Championship Series in Philadelphia.

Bobby Abreu was rumored to be receiving a contract offer by the Angels, it was true, but Bobby Declined.

The offer by the Angles to Abreu was a 2 year $16 million dollar extension.

When Alex Rodriguez flies the other team dies…eventually. That seems to be the formula of the 2009 playoffs.

I heard rumors today that the Milwaukee Brewers have reached an angreement with the Kansas City Royals to acquire the rights of Zack Greinke and unknown minor leaguers for the rights of JJ Hardy, Manny Parra, Mat Gamel, and Angel Salome.
