Former New York Yankees second baseman Robinson Cano will play his first game against his former team when the Seattle Mariners return to Yankee Stadium on Tuesday, April 29.

Jimmy Fallon wanted to give Yankees fans a chance to show how they really feel about his departure by letting them boo him. Fallon did not, however, tell these booing fans that the real Cano could hear everything.

In a matter of seconds, he whiffed while trying to catch a foul ball, lost his hat and couldn't connect on a high-five with another fan:

That's a rough series of events. 

The Yankees did hold on to win 4-3, so that probably made his day a little better.

The game was tied 4-4 entering the ninth inning. Tampa Bay put two runs on the board in the top of the inning to go up 6-4, but closer Grant Balfour couldn't hold the lead. After Chicago put a run on the board to make it a 6-5 game, Abreu—who hit a solo home run earlier in the gamecame to the plate with two outs and the bases loaded.
