Pete Rose to Be Inducted into Cincinnati Reds Hall of Fame

Cincinnati Reds legend Pete Rose will be inducted into the team's Hall of Fame this summer. 

The Reds announced his selection Tuesday. The event is scheduled to take place June 24-26.

Lorenzo Cain, Royals Agree on New Contract: Latest Comments and Reaction

The Kansas City Royals announced Monday that All-Star center fielder Lorenzo Cain will remain with the team on a new two-year contract and avoid arbitration as a result:

Cain was the 2014 American League Championship Series MVP and an integral part of the Royals' World Series-winning team this past season. The 29-year-old batted .307 with 16 home runs and 72 RBI in 2015 and stole 28 bases for the second consecutive year.

Texas Rangers executive vice president of communications John Blake announced Monday the club re-signed starting pitcher Colby Lewis on a one-year contract.  

The 36-year-old veteran went 17-9 in 2015, but he had a 4.66 ERA. Blake specified Lewis' deal will mark his seventh season with the team.
