After getting started with a look at the top starting pitchers available this winter, the B/R MLB Offseason 100 will now turn its attention to the guys who live in the bullpen.

Like a savvy chess player, MLB executives and general managers should always be thinking a few moves ahead—which is why this offseason promises to bring a flurry of landscape-altering activity.

While the 2015-16 free-agent class is stocked with top-shelf talent, next winter's crop is less bountiful. Teams with holes to fill and cash to burn understand that now is the time to act, either via the open market or on the trading block.

It's awfully difficult to predict what will happen on the MLB free-agent market, but guys like Darren O'Day and Scott Kazmir should be some of the first impact players off the shelf.

The finalists for Gold Glove honors have been announced, and the winners will be revealed on Nov. 10 at 7 p.m. ET on ESPN.

Three finalists were named for each position in each league, and what follows are the predicted winners of each of the 18 Gold Glove Awards that will be handed out on Tuesday.

Oh, the elusive championship. Teams spend countless seasons hunting for it. Some make it to the top while others are left clamoring in the dust, looking like a character out of Mad Max.

When a franchise finally is able to nab a championship, things tend to change.

Our goal here was to analyze 10 changes that happen and explain each element in detail. Whether it's how these wins affect a city's economy or how coaches are suddenly given more slack, these changes are evident.

Baseball's prospect-mania has reached a point where some teams would rather trade a player that has proven he can succeed in the big leagues instead of giving up the potential of an untested youngster. 

It's understandable to a degree. Potential is intoxicating, and all of us—fans, pundits, talent evaluators and front office executives—lap it up like Scooby-Doo destroys a box of Scooby Snacks.

Bust—it's a word with a negative connotation.

That's even truer in sports, as the term "bust" sticks with a player throughout his career. Over the next few slides, we'll identify our all-bust team filled with free agents that could potentially flop next season. 

By sifting through stats, we can see trends that are developing during a player's career. Home runs, RBI and ERA are nice, but they don't always tell the entire story. 

Playoff sensation Daniel Murphy was bound to attract plenty of interest on the free-agent market following his October heroics, which propelled the New York Mets to the National League pennant. 

At least one team is already expressing its desire to sign the seven-year veteran.
