After four years with the Seattle Mariners, Hisashi Iwakuma will reportedly be suiting up for the Los Angeles Dodgers when the 2016 season starts.

A's Intrigued By Kazmir Reunion

The Oakland Athletics have "interest" in re-singing Kazmir, according to Joe Stiglich of CSN Bay Area. 

Free-agent pitcher Chris Young, who helped the Kansas City Royals to a World Series championship, has reportedly secured a deal to keep him in the majors for a 12th season. 

CBS Sports' Jon Heyman reported on Monday morning that Young and the Royals have agreed to a two-year contract for about $11.75 million.

Chase Utley’s most significant on-field moment during the 2015 season came when he took out New York Mets shortstop Ruben Tejada with a controversial slide in the playoffs, but his past production was enough to merit a new contract from the Los Angeles Dodgers.   

While attention might be shifted toward college football or the NFL as we descend into winter, Major League Baseball's offseason is staying hot as the winter meetings are set to kick off on Monday from Nashville, Tennessee. 

For four days, the landscape around the league will be changed as many players, free agents and trade targets alike, are set to find new homes.

The Oakland Athletics continued their offseason retooling Sunday, agreeing to a three-year, $22 million contract with reliever Ryan Madson. 

The Baltimore Orioles reportedly have re-signed relief pitcher Darren O'Day, pending a physical, according to Ken Rosenthal of Fox Sports. The deal is reportedly for four years and is worth $31 million, per Jon Heyman of CBS Sports.

Every team enters MLB's annual winter meetings with a wish list. No one has addressed every need and shored up every weakness, be it a buyer or seller.
